⚡ The idea at a glance
In the payment model used here, a received message earns $0.01. Sending a message yourself does not generate income on its own. Maintaining real contacts is therefore more useful than sending everyone the same lines.
🎯 Put it into practice
- After a good conversation, note a topic you can return to. Do not record unnecessary personal information.
- Start with a specific follow-up: “How did the trip you told me about go?”
- If you would like another call, suggest a convenient time: “I’ll be online today from 20:00 to 21:00 Kyiv time. Would you like to continue our conversation?”
- Set aside short messaging windows so messages do not take up all your video conversation time. If there is no reply, do not send a chain of reminders.
Example: 30 paid incoming messages earn $0.30. If they took ten minutes, compare the result with video conversations over the same period. An additional benefit of messaging is a return call, beyond the number of messages alone.
What to measure: credited message earnings, messaging time and the number of repeat video conversations afterwards.
🧪 Your next experiment
Choose a recent conversation and send one thoughtful follow-up about something you discussed. Record messaging time and any subsequent paid messages or return call.
